I'm pretty sure my prelude is trying to break up with me. Got the overheating all fixed, but now, every time I start her, she blows the turn signal fuse, and sometimes sounds like she's choking out (no matter how hard I pump the gas). Any ideas?
Yes, my check engine light is on, but it always is because the IAC valve is unplugged. I have the Chilton manual to my car, and have tried following the wires, but evidently I'm special and can't find anything wrong with any of the wiring from the in car fuse box.
Well, looks like she needs to to the shop. Popped the hood, found some random wires that were grounding, taped them off and the fuse quit blowing. However, I'm made a little nervous by random wires, the guy I bought this car from was a jackass to her. >( angry face.
Just a fair warning...it will be expensive to have a shop rewire your car. It is not difficult but it is very time consuming to trace and repair all the old wiring.
I know, and I doubt I will have it fully re-wired. I just want them to look at it and figure out what isn't wired correctly, or is disconnected, and go from there. Thank you for the heads up and your wisdom on my problem
