Seatbelts

My seatbelts in my 91 will not retract and I don't think that the are working. Worried that in an accident they may not work at all. Any ideas? Am getting ready to sell it and want things working.

Believe it or not, your seatbelts are a safety item, and are covered for the usable life of the car. Here is a link that tells you what to do. It also has links for the service bulletins...

Had a similar problem once, turns out that the pulling harness was a fault.

Is that still true for all Honda vehicles? My '99 has the exact same problem. It's the second biggest annoyance next to the enormous hole in my engine

Any seat belt on ANY Honda is covered under a lifetime warranty, all you have to do is go to the dealer and let them know. They'll order the parts and schedule an appointment to have it done completely free of charge.
