I bought my boyfriend the Pivot headlight controller for Christmas- it's the controller that allows you to control how far up or down your headlights go, and it takes your intake temp. Well, it came, but all of the instructions were in Japanese. He faxed it to a translation company to see how much it would cost to get it translated, and you'll never guess what they quoted- $300. That's ridiculous! I was wondering if anyone had this controller or if anyone could tell us how to hook it up? He's wanted this thing for so long, and now he has it, but can't do anything with it!!! Please help!!!

Who needs instructions!?! Aren't there any pictures? Where did you get this from and how much was it? Try yahoo. I believe they have some sort of translator program doo-hickee. If nothing else, take it up to a college and have a Japanese teacher(as in teaching Japanese) translate it for you. The most it will cost you is a shiny apple.

It has pics, but it's in black and white, and there are about thirty(I'm not kidding, it really is that many) wires of all different colors to hook up somewhere. The only ones he's figured out is the positive and the negative! I probably will take it to my school. As for why it takes your intake temp., for that, I have no idea, but it looks really cool on the box. It's not a number, it's 5 little dots that glow green, green, green, yellow, red, according to how cold or hot the temp. is. I bought it from www.autoimaging.com -go there and click on the Pivot Electronics link. It was $105, shipped.
