over heating problem!?!! - Honda Prelude Forum

i think i need a new water pump? anyone had any similar problems? i drained the system, got a new cap and put straight water back in it. i left her run for about 10 min with the heat on full blast. the temp gauge shot up...so i didnt solve my problem.

whats the deal?

did u check the thermostate? sometimes they get stuck open or closed.

i just replaced that a couple months ago, its a 180. i forgot to check it tho.
