Okay..I am guessing this will not be answered....swap but keeping carbs

I use to have a CRX with a B18C swap and a I've helped out with a bunch of B16A/B18C Civic swaps. I know about Civics/CRXs but I don't have any clue about Preludes. Here is the plan. I was told that certain years or models of 3rd gens have side draft carbs. I also heard they accept most motors like CRVs (B20s) or LSs(B18As), with mount kits. Has anyone done an engine swap and kept the carbs? I was thinking of swapping the motor out and throwing on a set of sidedraft Mikunis on either either of those two motors. I know all about tuning carbs, etc.. Since everything for carbs is there all ready on the motor to begin with, would there be any difficulties with a Mikuni setup? I know serious power can be made with carbs so I don't need opinions, all I want is facts. Has anyone done this or know anyone who has? THanks

Do you have a prelue and if so what year???

no B series engine is gonna pull our cars across the1/4 mile longer than a 16sec. I know that I heard of someone that was going to try and put in an Acura CL motor in (the 3.2ltr).....but I forgot who it was.....

Second...Are you sure that your is carborated and not fuel injected??

Ive heard of a guy that put a b18 into his 3rd gen, with a turbo he was running 10's. I even saw a video of 1 of his runs. I think he was from puerto rico. But i dont know whats all involved into doing it, dont know if you can just get a mount kit or have to cut anything, and i have no idea about the carb part.

Hey what about that F20 or whatever engine code is in the S2000? It's a longshot but since it's 2.0l still.. Couldn't that fit? If so I could try and raise the money and make my dead car a guinea pig.

The s2000 motor is set up for RWD and spins the opposite way, you could go mighty fast in reverse...
