New Clutch Sticking 88 lude

G'day, did a search and couldn't find an answer. Installed a new clutch kit (pressure plate, clutch plate and thrust race) also replaced flywheel due to cracks in old one. Reassemled everything box in etc., started her up and couldn't select gears without crunching. Bled clutch, same. Removed box and clutch checked all components again, identical except for flywheel which has step in it compared to old one that had been previously machined. Reassembled same result. Replaced clutch hose and slave, same. No abnormal wear in fork. Aligned shift cables as per groove. Clutch plate fits in stepped area correctly.
Slave throw looks normal etc. etc. BTW it is a B20A6 OZ engine same as A5.

Any help would be appreciated.
