what would cause the car to just shut down while driving and not start again?
Was driving down the road and then lost all power to the engine.... had power to lights and everything else..the engine just completely shut down, no check eninge light, no check oil light, no sputtering, just cut power.. Any ideas......

when i try and start it back up it turns over but wont fire up.. was wondering if maybe it was a timing belt....don't have the car in front of me just yet... so trying to trouble shoot it blind.....

Check your fuel pressure regulator. You getting any fuel into the injectors?Don't think it is an electrical issue since you have all your lights working.

I really hope you figured it out since that's been since Oct... but if not, I have a few ideas... fuel pump relay or coil ignitor do the same thing, fuel pressure regulator will eventually start
