you can do some things to a carbed type s. you just have to be creative. carburateors are not all bad. you can get then tuned at a shop and they can give your engine a better fuel/air mixture.
I just put a custom cold air intake on my type s with a high flow K&N air filter and it pulls alot better. it also sounds better too. i can send you an e-mail with pics of my intake as soon as i get my camera working. it made a definate difference in the performance. it has a very nice growl at around 35oo rpm. i am also getting the bullfrog racing cam i told you about, a custom cat back exhaust, and a 50 shot of nitrous. i talked to this guy who knows alot about carburated nitrous systems, and i am going to put a wet system on my engine. he said to drill a hole under my intake manifold, and put a nozzle in there. i have to get a full engine check before i do that, but i am pretty sure it is fine. after that, my car is definatley going to have some balls.

i looked for a k&N filter but they had none for the type s . will an si filter work? i would put nitrous but i want balls without nitrous cause it is too expensive for me to afford and i would only use it like once. sounds like a cool idea though.i saw racing carbs for sale be4 how good do you guys think the carbs will qwork?

The K&N air filter i have on my ar is a cone filter on a custom intake. i dont know if they make one specifically for the B20A3, but there might be an engine similar enough that it will crossover. oh, and the si air filter will not go into our cars.

With a B20a3 theres honestly a loooong way to go b4 you can say your car has ballz, PGM-FI B20 ludes have probs gettin some power so It will be harder especially being carbourated.
