My 1991 Prelude had a ps leak that was tough to find. There was fluid all over the eingin bay so I cleaned the entire engine with degreaser and drove it home. Found the leak under the the heat sleeve that protects the hose crossing over the exhaust manifold. Anyway a new high pressure hose was $80 but it was all twisty on the end that attaches to the engine. I called Honda and they said it is a 5.5 hour job to replace this line. Yikes.
I took a car to a hose manufacturing company and he said to cut it off and he will build a section of hose with a pressure fitting that I can attach without removing the whole hose. He installed a fitting on the end that bolts onto the pump. This hose was $60 and took about 15 minutes to install.
First picture was where I cut it. Second is the new hose attached. Third is the end attached to the pump. Hope it helps someone.
