I Wrecked My Baby!

I HATE TO SAY IT AS MUCH AS I HATE TO LOOK BACK, BUT I WRECKED MY MOST PRISED POSESSION, MY 91 LUDE SI *sob*

i was going rather fast around a turn (40-45mph) and the roads were rather slick after a slight rain, and i lost control, slid about 147 feet and did a 180 and went into a ditch and hit 2 small trees...it sux...i screwed up the front bumper (will have to be replaced) and the front and rear quarter panels...i broke out the lil triangle window in the back seat, anyways, the back panel right above the wheel is dented in to the windo and the front panel is dented in above the wheel just enough not to mess up the hood...but, i'll try and post pics as soon as available, but how much do u think it would cost for the body work and/or the new panels...thanks guys!

just get it running. then worry about body work, you may as well get some custom stuff done and get a nice new paint job. just get it runnable and save ur pennies.

man

damage doesnt sound that bad, your lucky, to be alrite too.

Friend of mine did the exact same thing in his 95 VTEC, 45-50ish, but he hit one of those 2' high barrier bricks, i was behind him in my friends Z28, and all i saw was his car go STRAIGHT up into thte air then plop back down.. his car's totalled to say the least, engines fine though.. important part

and he's scratchless..

grab a body kit and get some custom work done, after a wrecks the best time.. make a bad thing good man, no biggie, glad to hear you're alright

Man sorry to hear it. I know if it were me I would consider suicide. But I always look at bad things as a chance to do something good. Everytime I break something(which happens a lot) I replace it with aftermarket stuff. Don't kill it. If you decide its not worth it, sell me your tailights! But save it. Maybe make it into a project full drag car? Thats what I am going to do later on(5-10 years). I am going to have my super fast 3rd gen street car and then a twin 3rd gen full drag car.

o it runs perfectly fine (so i think for now), but no problems seem to occur other than the obvious dents and what not, but i WILL need a new front bumper so i thinnk i'll invest in a body kit but all this is up to my parents, after all they bought the car for me, so i don't hvae a bunch to say about it...but how much is body work usuallY??
