ok, but are they both DOHC? My 87 Si is stock... My cuz has a 3rd gen he has an 88 S he wants to put on a B16 head, he got this great price for a 90 Si engine, b/c I have been told that the B16 won't fit b/c 88 S is SOHC. And before he goes ahead and buys the engine I wanna make sure its DOHC.

He's a member of this site. His username is LUDENNYC.

He's a nooB

So I guess any info would be great!!

Thanks,
Jose

both the b21 and b20 are DOHC. the b20 is probably a better candidate for a b16 head because they have the same cylinder bore. then you can also use the b16 pistons for a higher compression. the b20's are usually considered to be a little better of an engine. the b21's had a lot of problems with oil burning and arent very good for rebuilding because of the cylinders.
