how do I remove A pillar? - Honda Prelude Forum

Sorry for such a simple question. But I can't seem to locate all the bolts/screws to remove the A pillar on my 88 lude. Anyone got a walkthrough or know of any place that I can find out how and where to do it? Thanks.

First, you need to loosen the rear 1/4 panel along the corresponding side of the car. By doing so, it'll allow the trim that runs along the top of the roof that connects to the A-pillar's trim to have some breathing room. After doing so, take a flathead screw driver, and just pry from the side. Just keep prying all the way down to the A-pillar.

Helps to move the quarter window trim out of the way (it's held on my clips along it's top) - but basically, the piller trim and above the door trim are held on by clips - if you break them (which may happen) be prepared to go order up some new ones from Honda - i haven't found any other auto store that had the exact matches.
