Got a new rear muffler

Its an Australian made fully stainless steel Hi-Tech (name of company) muffler. Its a straight through design so it should yield some top end performance. The sound it makes is designed to mimick the Remus systems, with that low bassy Euro style noise. I like the sound it makes, its a little different from all those cannon type mufflers that are out there.

When first installed it was way too loud, so I took it back and we tried a few different tuning tubes to get the right volume and note. So the note is just right now. At WOT there is a nice burble from the exhaust.

I took a video of it, nice demo of the note at idle but the digicam mic doesn't do it justice when revving. Also a nice walk around of my car,

You'll need to have DivX installed to watch this (3mb)

wow.....that looks really really good. a little more agressive looking over stock but still retains a somewhat stock look to it.

are only the tips polished like that? or is the whole thing polished?

Only the tips are polished. The rest of the muffler is stainless steel but painted black.

Yeah, it lowered. 1.5" drop. Also, because I have performance headers (extractors) the car has responded quite well to an upgraded muffler. There is a small improvement in midrange to top end.
