Engine knocking 91 lude

91 Lude b21a1
OK, first off I was driving out and about. Well one night I went home and parked it and it was running fine as it usually, um did. The next morning I was going to go to the grocery store so I fired her up just fine. I noticed the oil light was flashing which I figured it was low on oil. I go to get some oil and pop the hood and noticed my alternator belt was broken. With me not being so good with cars I was thinking that the alternator belt ran to the oil pump too.. So I thought it would be fine once I put the belt on and coming to my knowledge this belt has nothing to do with the oil pump. So I checked my oil and it was full, maybe a little over filled. Well, I was told to drive it around for an hour or so since that if the oil pump was bad that the engine wouldn't even last for 3 hours as the engine would lock up. Since then I've driven it maybe a month and it's been doing fine, no engine stall and no power loss. So I change the oil pressure switch/sender and no fix, the light was still on. Two weeks later my engine seems to be knocking now. The engine still doesn't stall and hasn't lost any power at all. I was looking under the hood the other day and I noticed this pulley that the alternator belt runs to was wobbling when I revved it up. I'm not sure what this part is called, which I've been told it's a harmonic balancer, crank pulley and a harmonic damper. I just know that this pulley like thing is part of the crank shaft. It's like a two piece pulley and theres a smaller on connected to it. Seems like there is a rubber like piece that I've been told that could be worn which keeps them together. I'm not sure if this could be causing the knocking of my rods or not? Any suggestions or ideas?
Heres a picture similar to what I'm talking about.

The green shaded area is the part that wobbles
