Dreaming of a prelude.

Hey folks, newly registered Aussie member here. I've been dreaming about getting a car to restore for the last 6 months after losing my last car (little BG series mazda 323) and I mean a 99% restoration.

After researching, and thinking long and hard, I've decided to go with a "newer" car to restore, and im seriously thinking about a 3rd gen prelude 4WS as the beast to become a beauty. IMHO they are the iconic reason why I have loved smaller cars since I was a child, so what better way to celebrate them by bringing one back to life "restoration before modification" as they say.

SO saying that, I have a few questions that you might be able to help me out with. I have about $4000 in the kitty at the moment, and slowly growing it, once its about $3000 up from there, I will be happy to buy and start collecting parts

In Australia, as far as I can see, we got the B20A6 motor? obviously I will be rebuilding it from the ground up, has anyone got a good idea of where to source parts from? I'm partial to ACL pistons, but I have lost their catalogue so its annoying that I cant check (slow net too)

And any specific problems that come with this model would be a good help too

All I can say is, if I get my wish, being able to find engine components then look forwards to a ground up 3RD gen rebuild in the near future! simple and classy as always.

Edit: oh and one last thing for the tech gurus in here, the engine SHOULD be happy to take a 1.0 overbore shouldn't it if not, I guess 0.5 will have to do. (mm btw)
