dam hood...

anybody here know why my dam hood keep opening itself back up????

just started doing it tonite..while i was on i95...

and i noticed, dat my hood release cable is getting tite (when i lift up my popper under my dash)...is there anyway to tite it back up on honda's? or do i need to buy a new one?
