Crankshaft pulley question

Okay, so my engine got seriously messed up because of the crankshaft pulley. Anyway, I went the cheaper route and got a used unrebuilt engine, but the crank pulley on both the old and new one are messed up. So I went to an import autowrecker and asked for one compatible with the b20a5 engine, and they gave me a "new" one. But it doesn't look the same as the other two. Is it okay to use? The one on the right is one of the old ones, the one on the left is te one the autowrecker gave me.

Also, the bolt sizes are different..

Has anyone come across this before? Sorry in advance if this is an obvious question.

as long as everything lines up right and theres no loose spots on belt u should be ok but i would check everything over and over again it looks like the new one is slightly wider than the old one if it is u might go through alot of belts

Did the autowrecker give you the woodruff key for that pulley? Also, did the autowrecker gave u that concave washer and bolt that goes with the pulley? The washer puts pressure on that bolt when the pulley is installed.

Just wondering if you put that other pulley on your motor. I was just schooled on this not too long ago so I thought I would share. The pulley on the left is for 88-89 & the one on the right is for a 90-91. The latter is a 2 piece pulley held together by a rubber membrane, whereas the 88-89 pulley is a one piece pulley. Either is correct for a B20A5 though.

^^^This is correct. I'm using an 89 b20a5 pulley from on my 91 b20a1. The 90/91 two piece pulley is notorious for the rubber failing and the two pulleys separating. I prefer the 88/89 pulley because it's solid and won't come apart like that.
