Common swaps/upgrades? - Honda Prelude Forum

Hello,

I have an 89 sohc carbuerated lude. I was wondering what's a common swap for upgrades that people are doing. Were can i get info about this car? For instance i know everything about my mr2 mk1 supercharged. Where can i get this knowledge of these cars? or are they worth the upgrade? Are they good at solo2? ITA?

They have a active 3rd gen section.....PO does not.

Colt cam regrind, header (if you can find one), exhaust, higher compression pistons. I have heard rumors of people swapping the stock carbs out for webers, but that's not confirmed.

There is very little aftermarket support for the Si, and even less for the S. You will need to be creative to upgrade the single bumpstick 3rd gen. And preludepower.com definitely has a lot more activity for 3rd geners.

i was thinking an h22a turbo. something with dual cams and vtec maybe? will the integra type r fit? lol
