i just found out that when i took off my a/c compressor during my engine swap, the wires from the a/c compressor came out of the plug that plugs into the main wiring harness of the car. does anyone know which color wires go in which part of the plug? there are 4 wires. i can post picture later when i get home so you can see what i'm talking about thanks.

omg..... just match up everything again....... i haven't been home in 2 weeks or i'd go home and look myself.. my swap still isn't done.. waiting on when the tranny will get looked at...

You will have 5 wires. The fat red controls the magnetic clutch. There's a white/green, which is for the compressor's speed sensor, and then another red/brown which is the pressure switch. If you're missing the extra fat red wire for the clutch, tap it with the brown wire.

Some Honda compressors, depending on who made the compressor matsuiba (sp?) or Mitsbubisha(sp?) will have 3 + the red clutch wire.

there is no way to just match everything up again, but i think i figured it out. just gotta recharge it freon now.
