Bought springs today

Well, picked up 4 of these today.

Pedders Sports Ryder coil springs. Should be a 30-40mm (1" - 1.5") drop. So the car will ride approx 110mm off the ground (stock height is 150mm).

Getting them installed by my mechanic on Monday. Can't wait.

Pretty slick man.

I love these cars with a nice drop... well... I love these cars period.

BTW, just passing on a bit of personal experience: Unless you plan on doing real, timed racing, stick with the stock shocks. They're really good. I auto-xed on them for quite a while, and they worked quite nicely. Not to mention how well they ride.

im already lowered, Neuspeed Race Springs, and Tokico Blues...

LOVE IT!!!

trying to find another tyoe of shock that i can use.... something more agressive, if not ill probably just get another set of blues.

with the springs i want to use, with how low i want to be, i dont want to deal with blowing out the stock parts before i can afford to buy new ones, and there is no point in doing the same job twice unless im upgrading, so i might as well get shocks with springs

im already lowered though..... just looking for stiffer springs

They make koni's for our car. They're pretty inexpensive, they're adjustable, and they just generally all round good shocks. They were pretty hard to find. I got mine at classiccargarage.com.

In all seriousness though, the stock shocks can take all the lowering and spring rate that you can throw at any other off-the-shelf shock.

if you want, you could also get the ground control kit. Very nice with the adjustable height, and you can throw whatever spring rates you want on there.
