Auto tranny falling apart?
Hey guys and gals.My 88si 4ws has an auto.trans. that drives pretty good,but when shift from park to drive or reverse to drive I hear a nasty noise from the tranny. Sounds like it's on the right side. It's almost like gears not meshing together real well.Once it's in gear tho there's no other sounds.Sorry if this is a repost,I looked for an old thread but couldn't find any. could this noise be from the differential or somethin' of that sort?I recently cleaned the throttlebody and replaced a few hoses and an ect that i managed to break somehow.starts up real good now. thanks for the advice on that one guys.
