What are you sorry for? The 3rd gen section here doesn't get a lot of traffic, so it's more likely that your questions just weren't read by anyone who knows the answer to what you were asking.

I went back and read your two questions, and I'm sorry but I don't have an answer for your auto tranny question. I've only ever owned 5 speed 3rd gens, and have no experience with Honda auto transmissions. As far as the chip question goes, you probably could have searched on that one. But to save you time, don't waste your money on any of those. They are a waste of money, and at best won't do anything. More likely they will cause some kind of problem. 3rd gen ecu's are not "chippable". If you have a 90/91 Si (OBD1) you can swap a chippable ecu in, but not for 88/89 (OBD0).

you did not offend anyone at all mate. We love any types of questions. Your questions were all legit and there was nothing wrong with them. People answer what they can. If you see not many responses or if you don't see responses that help you, no worries, that doesn't mean anything.

I am highly offended!!!

How dare you?!?!?!

Asking questions about a prelude on a prelude forum? The nerve of some people!!!! What were you thinking?

Okay, not really. I never read your questions, and odds are, if you posted them in the 3rd gen section, no one else did either. Not much action on the 3rd gen forum here, might want to try preludepower.

Hey now, there are a few of us 3rd genners here. But you're right...the other forum has a very active 3rd gen section.
