91 Si fuel pump assembly - Honda Prelude Forum

New to the site, and I was wondering if someone can help me out. I got a 91 Si, it is not running at the moment due to the fuel system. When I got it, the tank was out and it had been cleaned and sealed, got a new pump with it but the problem is the bracket that holds the pump, it' s all rusted and can't re-use it. I was looking to buy a new one, but all I can find is 90 and below. Do they make a complete assembly for the 91 or can you use the 90? what is the diference? Also, where can I get the sending unit, nobody has one and mine is also rusted out!:frown:

I wasn't aware there was a difference between the 91 and any other 3rd gen as long as it's fuel injected. It's possible that what you saw is for the S model, which wasn't made in 91.

Your best bet for parts would be the junkyard, ebay, or Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market

+1. Wasn't aware of such difference for fuel injected one. Try looking at JCWhitney. I'm sure they have one. Best of luck.
