91 prelude what strutsto get?

hi im new here, i have 91 prelude and i replaced struts with the autozone house brand cheap struts and the car bounces all over the place, i told my mechanic friend maybe we should change the springs also cuz the car has 140000 miles and he said nah u rarely have to replace springs. so my question is what is a good strut to get for a 91 prelude? ty

One of the best spring/shock combo's you can get for the 3rd gen is a set of K sport coil overs. They are not cheap, but well worth the money if you want the best. Here is a link to a distributor for them. His name is Sean. You will get a better price if you call and order them.

Yeah, they will set you back about a grand. But worth the cost if you plan on keeping your lude for a long time.

I believe there is a group buy going on for those right now for $850. Just bear in mind that they are all 4 struts & adjustable coil overs. Nothing better out there.

get Tokico Blue shocks if that's what you are looking for. they are pretty much the only shocks you can get for 3rd gens at this time.

if you also want to lower your car then you can go with springs too. I suggest the Eibach Pro kit which gives a 1.5" drop. that combination is what I have.
