89 Seat Belt Indicator Problem

I've inherited a really clean 1989 Prelude 2.0s. It has a couple of quirks I'm trying to work out, and need this groups collective wisdom to fix.

I'm having problem with the seat belt warning indicator not going off. The problem is recreatable by starting the car without the seat belt fastened. Once the warning beeper starts going off (along with the flashing red seat belt lamp on the instrument cluster), fastening the seat belt will NOT turn it off. You have to shut the car off and restart it with the seat belt fastened in order to get the indicator to stop.

Has anyone run into this and know where the problem may be? I'm assuming there is some sort of control unit anbd/or relay box that is at the heart of the problem.

Thanks Slipknot:
Based on your post, I found the following information on-line,

Integrated Control Unit:
It controls the entry light timer, Light on warning system, oil pressure warning system, Seat belt reminder, brake light circuit (if your brake lights burn out), wiper system, key-on warning (if you leave the key in the ignition), low fuel warning.

I'll find a replacement, give it a try, and let everyone know the result.

Thanks!
