Not so sure about 25 min but 10-15 min is normal for a fan to be on after your car has been running a while.

the fan kicks in to cool down the engine after the car is turned off. If it's staying on for too long, maybe the engine is getting too hot? Have you checked your temp gauge while running? I'm not sure what the normal running time is for it though.

after the thermostat and fan switch were replace the car no longer heated up but the cooling fan would run for 25-30 minutes. but if i wait about 15 mins while the fan is still running, turn the car on and then off immediately. the fan will quit running. but thats only after about 15 mins of the fan running with the car off.

ive known people to skip the fan switch an wire the cooling fan to run at all times, but this fan is not rigged.
thanks again.
