I have them in black, take a look at my last post, i show pics. I painted the mesh black too. I really like it that way, it looks stealth.

nice....

looks good and clean.... my bodyshop used I think a different kind of mesh.. I think it's the kind that is used for bumper grilles... with bigger holes... and they lined them up f***ed up .... for example... one slit the pattern is vertical.. .and the slit beside it.. the pattern is horizontal... I am hoping that after painting them black ... you won't be able to notice.

also... how long have you had these in for?? any problems with rust?

thanks

played out??? maybe where you are... but here in Toronto.... haven't seen even ONE lude with Z3 fenders (I'm sure there is a few... but still very rare... have yet to personally see one)....

you wanna do something else to your fenders to make 'em look sweet??

throw on a sidemarker.. lol j/k

I've seen a lude on hondaprelude.com with Z3 fenders backwards... I dunno if he did that on purpose or what .. still looks ok though....

the only other thing i could think of would be WIDE body kit... flare those babies out.

peace

Eh, they are ok... if u get the full fiberglass ones from Aerogear, they are kinda of a ***** to fit... other than that, its ok I guess... I got a good deal on my whole kit, so only reason i have the fenders is cuz the guy just threw em in.

yea, i have the full fender in fiberglass from aerogear. They came with the mesh already in them. They were hard to fit. I had a friend help install them and in some spots the bolts were a half a inch off. We had to bend them a lot to get them on. But around here i have yet to see another car with them so there still unique.

They're so played out that they look dumb on BMW Z3's! Seriously, it's like putting a BMW emblem in place of your Honda emblem.. Heh.. But I guess; To each, his own.

I totally see your point and completely agree.... that would probably kill it for me too.... luckily, I haven't personally seen even one car around here with 'em on.... plus... even if I do pull up to a civic with Z3 fenders.... I'd laugh at him anyway cuz it looks ridiculous.... whereas on the lude ... I think it compliments very nicely, suits the car.

Say you have a Porsche... and then you see a civic with a Porsche emblem on it.. haha ( you never know) ... does that mean your car is played out??? I think not... I think just means that CIVICs themselves are played out and running out of options.

Anyways... what's done is done... hehe... I'll post pics up next week.

yea i think the 4th gen would look ok wif teh z3 cause it nice and curvie up front like a z3, and not so boxie like some civic and the 5th gen lude... but i so want to do this, but i live in san diego where i see a few once a week, some are very weak while some just look totally sweet. But i can't follow the trend in san diego where everything is so rice out. u have not seen rice till u live around teh san diego, OC and LA area
