try autozone for the spring compressor and ball joint seperator. I hear you can rent them from there. Never tried it myself though.

You know that in that pic you have the front springs on the rear shocks and vise-versa correct? As for the ball joints, you don't really need it. I was able to maneuver the rears out without pulling the joint and the fronts are cake.

Good luck,

How much did the set cost and where did you buy it? Looks nice.

I currently have the H&R Sports with the KYB AGX's and I couldn't be happier. I have my agx's set on 2 most of the time which is about where your gr-2's will be. I only scrape on steep level changes. The whole car looks 100% better and handles soooo much better than stock, very comfortable and firm. Have fun..

I got the AGX's too ... somebody said they had the front on 3 and rears on 4 ... i changed my rears to 1 and its pretty sweet, but my roads are sh!t in my city ... I have the front at 3 still and its an awesome ride.. the faster you go the smoother it gets .. I love it.

http://www.ntpog.com has a write-up on installing these... you can use an old bolt sure no problem to fill in for the missing one...

I took off the ball join w/ the pittman and it gave me tonnes more room to get the job done .. for the little work involved you might as well pull it (on the rears) the fronts I just had my mom even step on the wheel hub and that gave me clearance..

You might have to take the brake line off of the inside of the fender to get additional clearance.

Ya I got the sports. I'm still kicking myself for going on this spending spree (since I'm uber poor), but you gotta go crazy every once in a while right?

We will have to post pics up when we're done

?can i ask why would u need a compressor if your going with lowered springs? i did mine and there was enough space to bolt everything down without a compressor, jus a thought

how did you take off the stock springs from the mounts then? the springs are compressed so the top mounts should go flying off if you try to take them off without a compressor

Yeah that compressor is a godsend. If you try and take that top nut off without the springs compressed you or something you own is going to get the sh!t knocked outta it.

i thought your going to use a compressor installing just the aftermarket spring/shock. didnt read the part where u'll need to compress the stock springs although i have done it a few times taken the stock springs without using a compressor, it isnt that hard although it can be dangerous, all i did was have another guy turn the screw slowing while a towel or whatever on top of it and ill be stepping on the top end of the shock, it'll jus bounce against your leg. i rather have a compressor if u could get ahold of it.

your f*cking crazy man ... those stock springs are SO compressed.. a hint of advice, especially on the rears ... tighten that **** down a LOT more than you would tighten it down if it were stock .. the washers in my trunk are rattling cuz i dint do it tight enough but my cust0m stero makes it a ***** to get at

doing the rears is gonna suck. space is so cramped in there plus you gotta tear off the trunk lining and i have to move the sub box around... blah... hopefully i'll be done in like 4 hours
