yeah......while the hood was closed there was no problem whatsoever with the water. It was just as soon as I opened it.

Open your hood sometime after you wash your car or after rain.....you'll see what I mean.

Thanks for the info

Not sure on the legality over here, guess time will tell.

All I know is the 6000k are far better than my old ones, so I'm happy, going on the info you've said I'd have had 5000ks instead but live and learn

I did before..never had a problem...But it does make sense that water could fall in there..

o ok, just as long as no water gets in there while the hood is closed. i might actually put some sort of box over the ballast, just like a box cut in half to cover the top of it from water so that its still able to breath through its vent. and where you put in your bulb, you know that rubber piece that you take off, then your able to take off the bulb? well, that rubber piece doesnt fully close the bulb so dust can get in i think. should i cover it up with something? if you know know what i mean, ill take a pic.

and what about this?



you can see the connectors connected to each other. they are exposed, dont you think? how should i seal em? would electric tape do good or would it seal in moisture which is bad?


here are some pics of the xenon, its a lot bluer in rea life but i dont know how to adjust the camera to take real to life pictures

you can thank my previous owner for that one. i got three rims spinning one way and one rim spinning the other way. so one side is always gonna be messed up they are just on for winter anyway. gonna wax my other rims and put them on soon.
