wwrs kit front lip sagging

i got my front lip installed a few days ago by a body shop. it looked ok, but then when i got it on my friends lift, it looked wierd. it was like the front lip in the center was sagging down. like the front tip of it was pointing down. you cant really notice it unless you look closely. you can also notice it if you look at it from the side. its like the front lip is pointing down a bit. and when you feel under the lip, that part thats supposed to be parralel to the ground is instead pointing toward the ground. is any of your front lips like that? how can i fix it. the body shop said that the kit is just like that and i should put a bracket or anything cuz then it will be really stiff and then when i hit something, its gonna tear off.

Well the lip is attached by double-sided tape and 2 screws by the fender lining. I'm guessing the tape isn't doing a good job holding up the lip. However a bracket would work fine - you probably need to drill some holes with self-tapping screws and you should be good to go.

well, he said for the other places, he put brackets and other things to secure it in place. looks like he didnt do that for the front tho. maybe i can make some sort of bracket myself and put something where the stock front lip use to be to push it up kinda.

you stock bumper has a place to put some screws into your front lip to make it more secure. i knew the double sided tape wasn't going to do the trick so i put about 10-12 screws in my bumper/lip, that thing is not coming off

Seems like it is just the urethane warping...I have that same problem near the corners of the kit right under the turn lights.

More pics of the full car please!! I LOVE white 4th gens...

mine does sag alil in the middle of the lip.... and I also have a prob with the tip underneath the center turnsignals. You can kindof see it in this pic.... I had screws on the back side of the kit where the tips are at under the turnsignals.... which held it in place quite well... but I replaced them with rivets.. and I'm not all to happy with them (not tight enuff).

naw, mine isn't as bad as yours..... I think for what ever reason.. your fromt lip is warped. How to fix it.. I have no idea.. brackets would be the only way that I can think of... it's already painted too so that kindof sucks... cuz now you are running the risk of chipping the paint when you try to reshape it with brackets.

I think your lude looks da sh*t to. I love white cars especially ludes. I have alil something up my sleeve that should be changing the look of the rear... but I can;t say just yet.... If you have the money, get it molded on if you plan on keeping the kit.
I have a fifth gen, you can somewhat see the sticky tape on mine now, but with these stupid roads here I've scaped a few times.

Yeah, I love the azure blue, but I can just imagine how I would make the lude look with it white.

Ceaser, I am having the same problem with the kit at the corners, right underneath the corner turn signals....It's pissin me off because it is getting worse, and the double sided tape isn't holding it up.

How did you get screws from the inside to hook up to the kit?
