ww rs kit install and paint

how much did it cost for u guys for a shop to install and paint the ww rs lip kit? the shop is asking $500 for installation and paint for the kit and im also repainting my rear bumper which they are charging me $350. can u tell me if they are really ripping me off or not? i feel like they are... they do really good professional work tho, maybe that would account for the high prices? im doing some other stuff too so it comes out to $1660.

please post how much u paid for the install and paint of ur kit and/or ur bumper. and tell me how it came out and if the shop is known to be a really professional shop.

You can do the install yourself and one other person to hold it in place. Just have it painted.

sounds a bit high to me, but then again, if thats what they charge, they i guess thats it. i got my front bumper repainted, along with the nostrils, front lip, and side skirts for 250. that was about a year ago...

but what about fitment issues? if they arise? ide rather have them install it but it just seems $500 for painting and installing just a lip kit is expensive. do a lot of you guys agree? and $350 for a rear bumper?

umm well if the place has a guarnetee on the paint then do it, because polyuerthane is hard to work with as a paint, my place **** it upt, so bubble started to form on my lip, and soo it flake and peal off. but i paid 400 for the paint and it was hook up. also got my front bumper painted for 100. they would charges the same for the rear. i might be repainting my entire car the same color soon.

im starting to wonder if i should even get my kit and rear bumper painted over there with prices so high.

can more people simply post up what kit they have and post how much it cost to paint and install, or just how much to paint if you installed it urself? thats really all im asking.

i got my rear bumper repainted for 100 but it was a family friend. If its a good shop, then just pay for it and get it done. You should install it yourself though.

I'm assuming you already got the kit, but I think New Way sells the kit painted for like $1,000 shipped. Wings West paints it the factory color, and gives a 3 year warranty on the paint and color match. If you live close to WW (which you don't), they would install the kit free instead of free shipping.

$500 for the body kit + $350 for the rear bumper = $850 not $750
