jesus christ what the ****.

today i was driving with my window open maybe 1/5 of the way just to get some air. i park my car and try to up the window when i get home. the window wont go up. i check the passenger one, it still works fine. is this a common problem in 4th gens? i dont want to pay big time $$ to get this fixed at the dealer.

Does it make any sound when you move the switch? I'd start by removing the door panel and checking the wire hanesses to the switch and motor....get a voltmeter and check for voltage across the switch contacts when the switch is on. If there's none, check the switch and continuity through the wires leading to the fuse panel...sometimes pins in the harness can get lose too. If the switch is working ok them move onto the other system components ( motor ect...)
