Looks like the same color as my dash. Mine has always been a blueish color. I think that picture is the same as the one that I have in My prelude brochure from 94.

I've been wondering the same thing about that prelude. Anyone know the possibility of changing the color on the gauges? I've been wondering about this for a while.. never really researched it too much though..

anyone know if the electroluminecent guage cluster will bolt up to a 92 or 93 prelude si, the two years without the electo guages??? cause i can get my hands on a 94 si unit but i need to know if the swap will work before i shell out the monies....

anyone?

oh, 95-96 vtec are the only ones with blue, or are all the vtecs blue?

On my friend's brother's it looks blue. Maybe it fades depending on what you subject the car too (heat, sunlight, cold)?

A slight tint could change it, but I wouldn't do that personally.

I don't think that it was a change. I have a 94. And it has blueish color lights. I think that the color can change depending on age, and possibly by light making fade. Mine is blue. So is the color in my dealer brouchure for 94.

Well I'm not sure exactly about if there was a change or not, but I have both the 94 and the 96 gauges, and my 96 gauges are blue...

Okay...This is what I did. I have a 93 Si and I played my speedo gauge beside a bright white light and all I could see is blue. I am assuming the back of the gauge is blue.
So maybe if the bulb in the gauges are changed to a different color, it will change the look of the guages.
Does anybody know the size of these bulbs.
I smell a project....

found one...

found a 94 si guage cluster, electroluminecent, but a lower redline since its not vtec. its ok, dont pay attention to that anyways, just want the guages. but is 120 a reasonable price? 80k on the clock.

i still need to know if this thing will splice in ok to a 93 si. i'll be getting the speedo/tach and power box.

also i still need to know what is needed to make this legal, just notify department of transportation, or do they need papers?

They are not regular bulbs in there, but a bulb similar to that of neon lights. Also the bulb is curved to follow the digits on the dial faces. You maybe able to paint the bulb but it looks expensive and I didn't wanna **** it up for the sake of having a different color dash.
