Would you use bondo to customize pillar?

I have a dual gauge pod and Autometer Oil Pressure gauge. Not sure which other gauge I am going to use. Probably Fuel pressure cause I can't think of any use for any others. I have been searching for a crappy pillar arm trim piece so I can customize it to look more like the gauge pod is supposed to be there. Would you use bondo? Or some other material?

would it be difficult to get it to match the stock texturing? I don't think I'd like it if it had a smooth finish like it was filled and sanded.

BTW: Dont put a fuel psi gauge in the car. Not safe at all, having high pressure fuel aimed at your face.

Unless you use an isolator... then it ok, but its not going to tell you anything usefull in an NA car.

Voltage is always good, I have oil psi and vacuum. The vacuum gauge shows me how hard the engine is working.
A/F ratio, also pretty much not needed in an NA car, but it does have a lot of LED's which people are magically drawn to. (including me)

I have been toying with the idea of boost.

I don't know that I can make myself do it tho. I think I am a one day yes one day no. I have thought about A/F just to get the cool lights but I don't like to do something without a function. Asthetic eye pleasers are always a plus tho!

i have an oil pressure and a water temp gauge on my a-pillar. The stock water temp gauge is sooo vague, it doesnt really tell you anything, so i got the autometer one instead. i wanted fuel pressure too, but its too expensive with the isolator. there is also a electrical FP gauge available, but once again, too pricey for a gauge(200 bucks)

im not a huge fan of the mecanical gauges because they are not very accurate. www.speedshop.com has some good digital gauges. a FP gauge with the sender is like $160 and it is damn accurate. I just installed the A/F ratio gauge from speedshop and it works great. It shows an actual # of what the ratio is at WOT so you can tune it more accurately. an exhaust temp gauge would work well in tuning your fuel
