would switching to this ecu be a good idea

heres what im thinking, hook up a gsr ecu and put a vtec controller on it to change the vtec engaugement point. Would this be a good thing, cuz the redline would be higher? Or is this a stupid idea. I have i/h/e, cams, vafc, msd ignition

I don't think it will work. B series does not equal h series. You have a much larger engine. Just get a vtec controller if you want to change the engagement point. Even with that, don't set it too low. The car will run crappy and you will eat gas.

another reason why not to use gsr ecu without getting it chipped would be the difference in the injectors. One has saturated the outher has peak and hold. however it will work my firned is doing it on his h22 lude he is using gsr ecu, so i know it works, but i dont think its good.
