Just curious.. I know that Honda has had a reputation for these transmissions being horrible, but wasn't it in 1999 when they started making them better? Would it be possible (with an engine swap) to put a auto/manual (tiptronic) transmission into a fourth generation?

They still aren't very much fun.. and WAYY slower than a 5 speed. The sportshift doesn't rev-match when downshifting so it's really rough and hard to drive fast and smooth.

It is probably possible but the question is still why? A lot of the 5th gen drivers with ss want to swap to 5 spd.
