One Piece JDM headlights installed (but I want to pull them again and have projectors thrown in) as of now they do not work... Iono how to do wiring...

6 vented hood... no paint or primer... looks awful

z3 fenders.... not fitted well at all

r34 front end kit....

Altezza tail lights (I hate them)

perfomance clutch

full carpet replacement

List of things I WANT to do (and would be willing to pay anyone with the know-how)

1)LED ignition light ring mod
2) LED guage cluster mod to include the SRS and Turnsignal lights, needles
3) LED cruise/sunroof/dimmer mod
4) LED CC control mod
5) Acetate blue mod to fuel/temp guages

I pulled the guages



I want to clear off the red from the needles and swap the lights for LEDs

now... before I get any flak I have read alot of the forums on here about this... but I have yet to find a good FAQ or how to so far.... anyone can help me please?

is there a good step-by-step on LEDs and Resistivity?



and now that I got the gauge assemlby torn down... does ANYONE know exactly how this guy got his needles so gosh darned-bright??

i hope you bought it to restore. plus screw R33 tails. BOO

now for the way to go. www.parttrians.com get new stock bumpers and fenders. or chekc www.passowrdjdm.com. get new headlights, fenders, ect. cheap also.

plus the dealer wants 176 buck to replace the rear window weather stripping i got mine done awhile ago. it hard for me to do so i let them do it.

sorry to let you down... I am sticking with the kits... I need some good sideskirts and get it all fitted and primered nicely....

and they are r34 tails by the way and they were NOT cheap...

I saw a guy with a r33 tail mod and it was clean.... I'll have to look it up and post a pic

No, no. Sometimes even Preludes need to put out of their misery!

BTW, that rusted strip behind your rear windshield is pretty easy to get to. If you open the trunk and look under the rubber striping around that piece you'll see a bunch of screws. You can undo those and it should raise up a little. At that point you can either pop off the ends of that rusted strip and slide it out or you can pop the whole thing straight up, which will break the grommets and then grab some new ones from Honda along with the new weather stripping. Or sand and repaint.

I sanded down that metal strip and painted it with rustoleum. This was like 2+ years ago. Still looks great to this day!

Did you remove it before sanding and painting? or did you just do it on the car?

I left it on the car. Sanded it down with a dremel and masked off the entire rear of the car

For the LEDs, they drop 1.2 to 2.5 volts (forward biased, Vf) and run at 10-20 mA, so check the specs for the LEDs and calculate the resistance you need:

R = (12 volts - Vf) / I

and the power rating of the resistor:

P = 12 volts x I

You could use 14 volts instead of 12, and you don't have to run the LEDs at max current.

I'm not sure which LEDs you should get, but you probably want to more or less match the light outputs to that of the light bulbs.

I have Skyline lights on my prelude... This is what it can look like with skyline lights, you will need to change the boot shape though...

I think it looks great! how did you manage the trunk issue fitting around the lights? please let me know how you did all of this if you can...

To be honest, they were on it when I bought the car, I assume they cut the boot that was already on it, and just molded the lights into the bodywork, ive not actually seen inside a normal boot to tell the difference and what work they did to it..

Really. The front I can deal with...but the back just doesn't go together at all (IMO). I like the blue with the gold wheels, though!

I am going to replace the rear bumper eventually, it does look off yes but thats only because it has the r34 front bumper and they dont do a rear one.. its a combat rear bumper.. i think..
