Wiring question (blue fuel/temp and clock)

A couple months back I did the blue fuel/temp and clock "mod".

Everything looks good but there is one problem.

When I turn on my headlights, the clock dims, while I can keep the fuel/temp at max brightness. Do you guys know which wire behind the clock is the one that feeds the dim signal in? I plan on just cutting that wire so the clock will stay max bright even at night.

btw it's a 92. Sorry I can't afford a helm's manual yet Thanks guys

-Tony

look in FAQ for the online service manual... it has all the wiring diagrams at the end and is easy to use.

get the red/blk wire that goes into the fuel/temp gauge assy. The connector furthest to the left. Tap that wire and hook it to the red/blk that goes in the clock connector. You then should be able to dim the clock at will, just like the fuel and temp display.
