On sprig break i swapped my lude. I swapped a motor from a donor car that i had got a few months back. When we proceeded with the swap, we didn't konw that all you had to do was wire vtec straight to the ecu, but ended up swapping the entire main wiring harness. When we had completed the wire swap i found one plug that i can't seem to find the other plug that plugs in with it. My speedometer does not work which in consequence i believe that the car does not engage in Vtec according to an article that i red on hondatech. "The Official "Why VTEC doesn't Engage" Thread" The article stated that "*VSS/ SPEEDO if your car loses its speed reference vtec will not engage. the ecu will see it just as if you were sitting still reving the engine, no vtec" anyway i think this plug is my problem. I checked and the VSS is plugged in. Also the car red lines at 6500. Im running the p13 that came with the car. Everything on the donor car worked 100%. I drove it 750 miles from Minnesota with no problems. Here are the plugs.
