Wiring For Engine Water Temp Gauge??

when i bought my prelude the owner before me had a aftermarket water temp gauge, and i dont like it. I want to hook up the oem engine tempture gauge on the dash. I'm not really sure how to hook up the oem wires, because i dont know where its located and color of the wires. help thanks

Is it not coming on at all or it just doesn't read?

Might just be broken, which would explain why there's an aftermarket gauge in there.

The lights turn on I think it's just not hooked up hut not sure what wire it us help someone

It's really hard to diagnose this particular problem without looking at the car.

If you really wanted help, you would need to provide more info because this isn't a common problem most of us have and there are an infinite number of variables involved of what could be wrong.

i think it's not hooked up to the engine, dont really know where the senser is located
