Which wire is the ignition (to run jdms off of)

hey...i'm starting to get things together to do the full jdm light conversion. jdm black housing headlights and jdm oem fogs. as some of you may know, i still can't find the connector for the switch inside the car, but that will be solved this weekend when i saw the front end of the car off

i've been reading in some of the other posts about how people are running the h1's off their ignition to serve as a daytime running light. i talked to one of the guys i work with over at acura and they told me it's usually the black and yellow wire you see in front. that's fine. but is that the one i want to tap into? do i run a wire from both the h1 harnesses into that wire? or run them together first and then into the ignition? can someone tell me how to do this? i've been reading the other wiring schemes, and they seem simple enough. i'm getting brand new h1 and h4 harnesses (and relays) from my parts dept., so it should be relatively easy to see what goes where...i just need to figure out which one it is, before i go tapping into every damn wire with a test light

thanks
