window's switch question.

Is the driver's side windows switch different between the S model and the Si/VTEC?

I'm talking specifically the driver's side window switch (I know the S doesn't come w/ the power lock switch).

reason why I ask is b/c despite the two looking exactly the same... it seems that if you use a S driver's side window switch on a Si (or even VTEC model) the passenger side window will not work for either the driver or passenger side switch... you can roll down the driver's side window... but not the passenger side switch....

sorry if it sounds confusing... but yea..

are you sure the passenger window isn't "locked". Sounds like a stupid suggestion, but I drove around for 3 months thinking my passenger motor was busted and didnt realize I had accidently flipped the lock switch. Just check it out.

Don't feel too bad, I spent a few hours troubleshooting mine and getting really frustrated . . . then came inside and did a search to see if others had similar problem, and someone mentioned the lockout. So yeah . . .I was speaking from experience.
