window tinting ?'s

i am thinking of tinting the windows. does anyone have pics of silver 4th gens with tinted windows and how much they are tinted? i want dark tint, but not ghetto tint. I may go a little over the "legal" limit, but nothing ghetto looking.

thanks!!

I think anything under 20% would be way to dark. I think 35% is perfect especially after it sets in imo.

what do you mean "the hookup"? If you mean on the percentage....it doesn't matter - the law for window tint was removed. As for a price - I don't have any hookups on price...

HOWEVER, if you would like a recommendation on a good place to go, I can call my body shop and get a referral if you want.

brad, i was looking at your car and was envious of the pristine paint and body condition. if you dont mind me asking, how much did you pay and where did you go to have it done?

35%

I would say that the silver car has 35% if I were to guess, but thats just because it looks so much like mine. Actually I take that back, because you can look at the different pic's I have and they all look different. So either way looks tight.

I've had 35, 20, and 5. If there is a law just stick w/ that because honestly even 35 is kinda tough to see out of at night. Even 5 can be done tho.

But tint isn't ghetto unless you get that mirror or rainbow tint crap. Tint to me makes a car look more clean, the darker the better it looks.

You'll be able to tell w/ 32, and it will be difficult to see in, but w/ 20 its very difficult.

as far as I know, the US Supreme Court declared tinting regulation laws unlawful making it legal to have any type of window tint you want.
I did find this on the web though, its a list of laws for all states.
