window probs!!

Hey guys. Get this. My passenger side window works perfect with the passenger side switch but on my side I can only put the window down. I cant get the window to go up with the drivers side switch. So I think its gotta be the drivers side switch, right. Wrong I change the switch after about 40 dollars and alot of searching at junk yards for a prelude and the same thing happens. I dont think it would be the switch again. What could be my problem? Anyone with ideas is welcome because before the lude I never had power windows and this is my first run in with them.

Check the passenger window switch harness for the drivers switches wire for the passenger window

Meaning, check the Blu/Yel , thats the wire for up from the driverside switch. Check for voltage by raising the window up and the same for continuity. I think the wire is at fault. Also check if that wire is connected to the passenger side switch harness, it might have slipped off maybe

Im going to take a chance with the hopes youve already mentioned this and I missed it or you checked it because sometimes the obvious is overlooked.. On the drivers side you have your power door lock switch, two window switches, and a main window control switch... That main window control switch should be pushed down so it is on.. I am honestly kinda confused as to why this is even put on the prelude as its a 2 door sports car and being able to turn the main off actually removes the drivers ability to control the other window instead of removeing the passengers ability... I just hope you've checked this because I would feel stupid along wiht you if thats all it is... And PS.. It sounds exactly like the problem... Just check it and make sure I am stupid for even mentioning it...
