Window problem

Hey, i went to get in my car the other day after school and i rolled down the window and this black rubber peice inside the window between the door and widow that covers i think about 4 screw heads went down into the door with the window. It was about 96 degrees out so i think it melted it right off. Anyway, now my window is struggling to go down and up, i know this eventually will burn the motor out. Has this happened to anyone or does anyone know how to fix it?

I would just pull your door panel off and the plastic crap, then pull that piece out of your door. This should fix the slowness (if this didnt happen before and just started happening). Then get some thin double back tape and put that piece back up.

If that doesnt fix the slowness, then your window might need re-aligned. To do this you just unscrew the 2 bolts that hold the window in and adjust the window position. when you tighten it back up, dont tighten it too much cuz the window will break....
