Window Motor Question

Hello,

I just finished replacing the power window motor on the drivers side and that was a b!#(# to do. My Chiltons (I know it is worthless) said to remove the window glass and the regulator but I opted to leave those in and it worked. My question is for those of you with Haynes manuals. Does it say to remove the glass and regulator to change the motor?

Thanks

Well **** for **** the Haynes is better than the Chiltons hands down. I have yet to work with a Helms so I can't compare. I did mean to say Helms though. Sorry for the confusion.

Thanks
