well the si neuspeed front strut tower will bolt up to a vtec but you can't take the oil cap off so i would guess that the vtec will bolt up without a problem but why would that make 2 difrent ones thats just more money to make 2 diffrent ones i don't know what them companys are thinking sometimes

No they aren't. The SI bar doesn't clear the external coil.

They bolt pattern is exactly the same tho. The VTEC one is just a little higher.

So you can go vtec on a si but not si on a vtec, right?

the reason im asking is because i can get a vtec bar without waiting, but if i want the si one then i gotta wait for it-- as long as there isnt a problem with anything clearing or coming off then i was just planning on getting the vtec one

I don't know about a VTEC Neuspeed bar fitting an Si, but I know that the Si bar is not a fun fit on the VTEC, mainly b/c of the oil cap location on the VTEC valve cover. My friend put the Si bar on his VTEC, and it was a bear to get that thing on. He said that when he started his car up, the bar was hitting something and rattling like mad. I'd just wait and get the proper part for your car.

I can't say 100% for sure. In theory yes it sould, but then you have to think why not just make the VTEC bar and rid of 1 part number and another layout, right?

100% I can say the SI/SR bar won't fit on the VTEC/SRV, because I have tried it. The clearance is nasty.
