will struts and springs from a 5g fit on a 4g?

curious to know if struts and springs from a 5th gen will fit onto a 4th gen?

Shocks, definately, if they're from a Base. I'm not sure about the SH shocks. I am also pretty sure that the springs from the 5th gen base will work, although the spring rates may be different than the comparable springs for the 4th gen.

As far as I know the only difference is the 4/5 bolt difference. I know the brake calipers and caliper mounts are identical. I.E. you could do the Legend caliper upgrade on a 5th or 4th gen.

the sh shocks are slightly modified. go with a 5th gen base and you will be fine.

I have 5th gen springs on my 4th gen and fit perfectly. They are on my stock shocks right now, so I'm guessing that they should be interchangable with no problem.

all are interchangeable, there just aren't any brake line mounts on the 5th gen shocks that are on the stock 4th gen shocks but you should be OK with some zip ties

thanx guys. Im in the process of buying some 5th gen H&R springs from a member on here (dont remember the name off the top of my head). Once I get some KYB AGX's or some tociko illumina or blue sturts...I'll post some pix! Cant wait!

I just took the 'ring' with the ABS line holders off the 4th gen shock and put it on the 5th gen shock...
