Will the stock bumper work w/ intercooler

Will the stock bumper work with an intercooler? I finally got enough for my turbo and want to know if the stock bumper can hold it?

That should answer your question.
He has a ww lip and you can see how he cut some parts of the bumper out.

It was some scary sh!t when that guy pulled up next to me, in Colorado Springs, reved his engine up so that I could hear the turbo spool, only to let his clutch out so that he could literally jump out about 2-3 car lengths ... I knew I was in trouble when I saw the intercooler and could make out the lines of his guages in the pillar pod. That car was SICK!!!

Oh, well that's not so bad. The way everyone was talking (typing?) I thought it had been wrecked or something.

I though he wrecked it, badly. I found out through people on this site, too. I heard that he was racing, and ended up catching about 2 feet of air, and just plowing into a wall or curb and smashing the thing all to hell. I don't think he sold it ... check around this site. I'm not sniffing glue, either ... I read it with my own eyes. The driver was okay, and now owns a WRX.

yes it does, i've got quite a big intercooler and it fits with stock bumper.. u just have to cut out the inside of the stock bumper a bit, but there was no need to cut any supports or anything... one thing though, my AC's condensor gets in the way of my intercooler piping so i took it out.

Is this a custom kit, or the DRAG or FMAX kit?

Putting an intercooler behind a stock bumper just takes a little trimming. Here's a pic of mine.
