Will this fit our USDM 4th gens?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=40017

this isn't a heads up thread or anything like that, but has anyone seen anything like this for a 4th gen prelude? will it be easy to install this? it kinda kills the overall smoothness of the dash, but it might be nice.

thats cool. seems like it should fit, or maybe it would not be hard to make fit.

You'll need to cut your dash.

no cutting for you fullyludedSi hehe, just playin. I kinda like the clean-ness of my dash as it is, and i dont wanna have to worry bout rattlings and stuff like that. Besides most of us got Amps and crazy subwoofers in the ludes, so i think its useless, but if you are a JDM whore, haha thats just for you

uhm .. hello .. its a "Center channel" its perfect for the DVD enthusiast in our sports car =) ..

if you get a 5.1 surround carputer this could complete it nicely .. .providing you can play dvd audio ..

when dvd audio becomes a bit more standards and decks support 5.1 channels for it.. those will be in high demand for us..

Even if I had 5.1, I think I would rather have a surface-mount center channel speaker instead of a hole in my dash.

Of course it will fit. It is for our cars. I wouldn't hack up my dash to have one though.

When I got outbid on an item on eBay once I got sent an email from the seller saying he had plenty of rare items for the Prelude. This was one of them. I tried asking him for pics but he never sent me any I would sure like to have one of these!

yup, Hey, what's the difference between the Gathers one and the on we just lost?? The Gathers speaker is sized differently than the Honda one....do you know if dash-cutting is necessary for the gathers speaker? Does it serve the same functions as to provide center channels for DSP??
I'm just curious why would there be two different kinds of JDM center speakers for our Preludes..
